Over the last five years the national  family planning program stagnated. This can be seen from the total fertility rate is fixed at 2.6 and the prevalence rate of contraceptive usage or  CPR is still about 60 percent. The increased use of modern contraceptives  is only  0.7 percent.

On occasion, the Army of the Republic of Indonesia (TNI) is committed to assist in distributing the equipment BKKBN KB for the population in lagging regions or remote.
